Craftsman Pressure Washer Leaking Water From Bottom

Once the pump has cooled the thermal relief valve closes and the pressure washer operates normally. The leak could be due to the normal operation of the thermal release valve.
Drain pump may be clogged or a hose loose causing a bottom leak. There is no noise when running and all else is normal. Only 2 years old and used very little. This is a companion video to my other video.
Wanting to know if it is just a gasket issue that requires replacement or is the whole pump shot. When the water temperature rises above the acceptable limit the thermal release valve opens to allow the hot water to exit the pressure washer. The pressure washer is left running while it is not spraying water the water in the pump will begin to heat up. Last season worked fine.
The thermal release valve allows hot water to exit the pressure washer if the water temperature becomes excessively high. Not leaking from overflow on bottom of pump. If the pressure washer runs for more than 5 minutes when the spray wand isn t in use the water in the pump often overheats causing the thermal relief valve to open and discharge hot water onto the ground. Unable to get high pressure out when wand handle is pressed.

It allows water to also come out of the sprayer but when sprayer is off water gushes out through the detergent tank.

Hoses may be leaking in washer or on wall water tap causing a back leak. Over time this coupling and the seal inside of it can wear or break. It wasn t coming from where i thought it should. When a hose is attached it is screwed into the inlet coupling which holds the hose firmly and seals the connection so water does not leak out.

If your power washer leaks water from the connection between the hose and inlet the seal and possibly the coupling on the inlet are likely broken and will need to be replaced.
