Craftsman Pressure Washer Leaking Water From Bottom

If the pressure washer runs for more than 5 minutes when the spray wand isn t in use the water in the pump often overheats causing the thermal relief valve to open and discharge hot water onto the ground. Unable to get high pressure out when wand handle is pressed.

Hoses may be leaking in washer or on wall water tap causing a back leak. Over time this coupling and the seal inside of it can wear or break. It wasn t coming from where i thought it should. When a hose is attached it is screwed into the inlet coupling which holds the hose firmly and seals the connection so water does not leak out.

If your power washer leaks water from the connection between the hose and inlet the seal and possibly the coupling on the inlet are likely broken and will need to be replaced.
